The 2 rhetoric tricks in “What global warming? It’s cold outside!”

This very expensive GLOBAL WARMING bullshit has got to stop. Our planet is freezing, record low temps, and our GW scientists are stuck in ice.

Trump is not a believer.

What he tries to do, is to apply number 25, “Find one instance to the contrary.” But this is a mistake. Climate can’t be treated as a generalization of weather. Global warming refers to climate, whereas the day-to-day temperature refers to the weather, according to NASA:

The difference between weather and climate is that weather consists of the short-term (minutes to months) changes in the atmosphere. Most people think of weather in terms of temperature, humidity, precipitation, cloudiness, brightness, visibility, wind, and atmospheric pressure, as in high and low pressure.

As this is rhetoric, we dont accept logical arguments based on facts.  Your opponent doesn’t either.

We’ll just accept his statement and reply with an argument as bad as his:

Answer: “Our planet is bigger than that.”, number 21.
